The winery

Belba Winery, Kavajë

Located in Kavajë and surrounded by vineyards in Golemas, Belba Winery stands out as a jewel among Albania’s premier wine producers.

Albanian wines may still be an emerging discovery for the wider world, but the nation’s vineyards and wine culture date back long before the Roman era. Belba’s wines honour this remarkable legacy, embodying the essence of Albania through its native grapes and a deep connection to the land.

Hand-harvested

Every wine is picked by hand, from early September to late October.

36 months

In oak for Shesh i Zi and Kavaljon Reserve, then six months resting in the cellar.

Native grapes

Shesh i Zi, Shesh i Bardhë and Kabjuro, alongside classic international varieties.
